Fiona Apple

Dave Navarro wrote "Fiona, have fun. Love DN" in his own blood on Fiona's dressing room wall at the December 5, 1997 KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas show in Los Angeles that both Jane's Addiction and Fiona Apple performed at. Dave is a big fan of Fiona Apple's music.

Daniel Ash

Guitarist and vocalist of Love & Rockets and guitarist for Bauhaus. Performed with Porno For Pyros on the track Porpoise Head.

Kimberly Austin

San Francisco, CA artist. Basis of the Porno For Pyros song Kimberly Austin.

Rebecca Avery

Sister of Eric Avery, former girlfriend of both Dave Navarro and Steve Perkins. She introduced Steve to Eric, and remained Steve's girlfriend for most of the initial run of the band.

Bianca

Alleged prostitute and original manager of Jane's Addiction. Put up her own money for some early Jane's shows, which were a financial disaster.

Charlie Bisharat

Performed violin on the Jane's Addiction song Three Days.

Carla Bozulich

Lead singer of the Geraldine Fibbers, introduced Eric Avery and Perry Farrell.

Ted Bundy

Convicted and executed serial killer. Subject matter in the song Ted, Just Admit It..., in which a recorded quote of his appears.

Christine Cagel

Mother of Perry's son Jobel. Christine is featured on the cover of the Good God's Urge album.

Ronnie S. Champagne

Co-engineered the Nothing's Shocking album with Dave Jerden and engineer on Ritual de lo Habitual and co-produced the Deconstruction album. Performed bass on the track Of Course, the only Jane's Addiction track from the original albums that Eric Avery did not perform on. Ronnie's wife Kim Champagne is credited as "Art Hostess" on both Nothing's Shocking and Ritual de lo Habitual.

Diddy

Musician, real name Sean Combs, formerly know as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy. Dave appears in the the music video for his Bad Boy 4 Life. Dave also appeared with Diddy during a live performance of the song on television in 2001.

Vito DiStefano

Father of Peter DiStefano and the subject of the Porno For Pyros song Pete's Dad. Vito passed away in March of 2001.

Christopher Dowd

Member of Fishbone. Performed trombone on the Jane's Addiction song Idiots Rule on the Nothing's Shocking album. Was the one to inform Perry Farrell about the death of their mutual friend Xiola.

Bob Dylan

Jane's Addiction covered the Dylan song Like A Rolling Stone as part of their medley Bobhaus.

E-Rok

E-Rok performs with Peter DiStefano as E-Rok & Pete.

Carmen Electra

Dave's third wife, real name Tara Leigh Patrick, musician, dancer, model and former Playboy playmate. Dave and Carmen were married on November 22, 2003. Their wedding preparation and ceremony were the subject of the MTV reality television series 'Til Death Do Us Part. On July 17, 2006, Dave and Carmen announced they were separated, Carmen filed for divorce on August 8, 2006. The divorce was finalized in early 2007.

Aaron Embry

Also known as Aaron Randall. Brother of Hollywood actor Ethan Embry and Los Angeles based musician. Performed keyboards on the Strays album and toured with the band during the subsequent tour. Has writing credits on the Jane's Addiction songs Superhero, Strays and The Riches.

Bob Ezrin

Co-producer of the Strays album with Perry Farrell. Blamed by many fans of ruining the classic sound of Jane's Addiction, and encouraging Perry Farrell to fire Martyn LeNoble.

Hezron Wolfgang Farrell

Born in 2002, Hezron is Perry Farrell and Etty Lau Farrell's oldest son. He is Etty's first son and Perry's second. He is the older brother of Izzadore Bravo Farrell and younger half-brother of Jobel Ari Farrell. Hezron's middle name is in honor of Bill Graham, whose real name is Wolfgang.

Izzadore Bravo Farrell

Born on October 9, 2004, Izzadore is Perry Farrell and Etty Lau Farrell's youngest son. He is Etty's second son and Perry's third. He is the younger brother of Hezron Wolfgang Farrell and younger half-brother of Jobel Ari Farrell.

Jobel Ari Farrell

Born in 2000, Jobel is the son of Perry Farrell and Christine Cagel. He is Perry's oldest son and is the older half-brother of Hezron Wolfgang Farrell and Izzadore Bravo Farrell. Jobel's name is pronounced yah-bel.

Morgan Fichter

Performed violin on Of Course, Then She Did... and Classic Girl with Jane's Addiction during the Ritual de lo Habitual tour.

Diamanda Galas

Musician who's song I Put A Spell On You was mixed with Ted, Just Admit It... for the medley Sex is Violent by Trent Reznor.

Ted Gardner

Former manager of Jane's Addiction and Tool. Recommended Eric Avery to Maynard Keenan as a replacement bass player.

Rhian Gittins

Dave's second wife. Dave and Rhian were married in Las Vegas, NV on October 15, 1994 and divorced less than six months later. Dave wrote the Rhimorse album in response to this painful, failed marriage.

Tania Goddard

Dave's first wife. Dave and Tania were married in a non-legal pagan hand-fasting ceremony in 1990. The couple also got matching palm tattoos of a marriage symbol. They split up a short time later.

Linda Good

Keyboardist who toured with Jane's Addiction during the 2001 tour.

Harry Gregson-Williams

Member, with Peter DiStefano of Rambient. Does extensive work in movie scores, and frequently employs Peter DiStefano to work with him.

Gibby Haynes

Lead singer of the Butthole Surfers. Sang lead on Deconstruction's song Fire In The Hole and remixed Jane's Addiction's song Ocean Size.

David J

Bassist and vocalist of Love & Rockets and bassist for Bauhaus. Performed with Porno For Pyros on the track Porpoise Head.

Michael Jackson

Dave Navarro performed during part of Michael Jackson's set at a Democratic Party fundraiser at Harlem's Apollo Theatre in New York on April 24, 2002.

David Jerden

Co-producer of both the Nothing's Shocking and Ritual de lo Habitual albums with Perry Farrell. Co-engineerer of the Nothing's Shocking album with Ronnie S. Champagne. Co-founder of Lollapalooza.

Maynard Keenan

Lead singer of the band Tool. Once invited Eric Avery to join his band after Avery was recommended to Maynard by Ted Gardner.

Gary Kurfirst

Former manager of Jane's Addiction.

Gary Kurfirst became Jane's Addiction's manager while they were recording the Nothing's Shocking album. Kurfirst wanted the band to use traditional promotion ideas to give the band exposure, which was something Perry was not interested in. Disagreements on the direction of the band continued and Kurfirst was ultimately fired before recording of Ritual de lo Habitual began.

In 1990, after being fired, Kurfirst sued the band for breach of contract, claiming the drug problems in the band "clouded their judgment", and won. According to Steve Perkins and Dave Navarro, Kurfirst continued to collect monies from the band members until sometime in 1995. [1]

Kurfirst went on to found Radioactive Records.

Cindy Lair

Performed the Spanish introduction, and appeared in the video for Stop!.

Tommy Lee

Drummer from Motly Crüe, solo artist and lead singer of Methods of Mayhem. Lee is a friend and co-owner of the Hollywood, CA nightclub Rokbar Hollywood with Dave Navarro. Steve Perkins and Chris Cheney played with Lee in MoM. There was some talk of Navarro playing with MoM, but it never happened.

Lippman Kahane Entertainment

Former management of Jane's Addiction. Fired shortly after being hired for asking Perry to take a urine test. Perry's rant at the beginning of the Ritual de lo Habitual version of Ain't No Right is directed at them.

Marilyn Manson

Musician, real name Brian Warner, a good friend of Dave Navarro. Dave performed the outro guitar solo on his song I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me). In Manson's autobiography, he claimed Dave once offered to give him a blowjob, while Dave claimed it was Manson who tried to seduce him. Supposedly their friendship had wanned during this time, but many feel the whole thing was a ruse.

Shirley Manson

Lead singer of the band Garbage. Eric Avery will be appearing on her upcoming solo debut; Shirley performs vocals on the song Maybe from Eric's solo debut Help Wanted. Eric first performed with Shirley as the band's touring bassist on Garbage's 2005 Bleed Like Me tour.

Monet Mazur

Supermodel, former girlfriend of Dave Navarro. A sample of her scream appears on the Trust No One version of Not For Nothing.

Moby

Musician. Dave Navarro appeared in the music video for his We Are All Made Of Stars.

Angelo Moore

Member of Fishbone. Performed saxophone on the Jane's Addiction song Idiots Rule on the Nothing's Shocking album. Dated Xiola.

Alanis Morissette

Dave Navarro and Flea worked on her You Oughta Know. Chris Cheney was her traveling bassist for a number of years. Oddly enough, he was replaced by Eric Avery, who also appeared in the music video for her song Hands Clean.

Peter Murphy

Lead singer of Bauhaus and solo artist. Eric Avery, Steve Perkins and Peter DiStefano all performed on his album Unshattered. Peter DiStefano toured with Peter Murphy and appears on the live album aLive Just For Love.

Connie Navarro

Dave's mother, born Constance Colleen Hopkins. She, along with Susan Joy, one of Dave's aunts, was murdered by John Riccardi, an ex-boyfriend on March 3, 1983. Connie was a model and once appeared on the TV game shows Lets Make A Deal and The Price Is Right. Dave has his mother's name Constance tattooed on his back.

Dan Navarro

Cousin of Dave Navarro, member of the band Lowen & Navarro. Dave appeared on Lowen & Navarro's Walking on a Wire and Broken Moon. Dan taught Dave his first guitar chords.

James Navarro

Dave's father, frequently called Mike Navarro.

Johnny Navarro

Brother of Dan Navarro and cousin of Dave Navarro. Johnny co-wrote a movie review column with Dave called Movies & Crap for Bikini Magazine. In their column, Dave and Johnny refer to each other as brothers, however they are actually cousins. The two Navarros also conducted a handful of interviews for the magazine.

Gabriel Navarro

Half-brother of Dave Navarro. His cry as an infant appears on the Red Hot Chili Pepper's song One Big Mob.

Maceo Parker

Jazz trumpeter, used to perform with James Brown. Perry named a cat after him, and wrote the song My Cat's Name is Maceo about it. Maceo Parker performed on the 1997 release of the song that appears on the Kettle Whistle album.

Twiggy Ramirez

real name Jeordie White, is the guitarist for A Perfect Circle and Marylin Manson. He is good friends with Dave Navarro. An answering machine message he left Dave was used for the Spread song Message From Twiggy. Twiggy also appears on the song Everything.

Aaron Randall

Lou Reed

Former lead singer of The Velvet Underground and solo artist. Porno For Pyros covered his song Satellite of Love for the Cable Guy soundtrack, and Dave Navarro covered his song The Bed.

Jon Reiss

Director of the music video for L.A. Song.

Trent Reznor

Lead singer and founder of Nine Inch Nails and longtime fan of Jane's Addiction. He mixed Jane's Addictions Ted, Just Admit It... with Diamanda Galas' I Put A Spell On You to create the medley Sex is Violent that appeared on the Natural Born Killers soundtrack.

Henry Rollins

Lead singer of the Rollins Band. Penned the essay in the liner notes of the Kettle Whistle album.

Axl Rose

Lead singer of Guns N' Roses, real name William Rose, Jr.. Axl invited Dave to join his band after the departure of founding guitarist Izzy Stradlin. Dave declined the invitation, but performed with the band on the track Oh My God! for the soundtrack of the movie End of Days.

John Phillip Shenale

Performed strings on the Jane's Addiction song Three Days.

Geoff Stadling

Performed piano on the Jane's Addiction song Three Days.

Paul V

Former manager of Porno For Pyros. Also managed the band Extra Fancy who toured with Porno For Pyros in 1996. He appears in the music video for A Little Sadness and on the cover of the Sadness single. He is also thanked in the liner notes of Ritual de lo Habitual.

Voltaire

Fetish model. Dave Navarro did a celebrity shoot of her titled Scene from a Movie for Suicide Girls [NSFW] which was released on February 8, 2005. The following is a posted quote from her about the photo shoot:

"This set was so much fun even though I was really nervous at first.... to work with Mr. Dave Navarro. After about half an hour, I realized there was nothing to be nervous about, since both of us had alot [sic.] of the same ideas... He is really a great guy, and we had fun shooting in Hollywood's fabulous Burgundy Room... I hope you enjoy this set of me, shot by Guitar monster Dave Navarro... Check out The Panic Channel right now! You won't reget [sic.] it. MEOW!" [2]
