Chris Chaney (b. ??) is the last bassist to play with Jane's Addiction. He joined the band during the Asian leg of the 2002 tour and remained with the band for the recording of the Strays album through their latest break-up in late 2003. Chris is also the current bassist for The Panic Channel and Camp Freddy. Chris and Steve Perkins previously played together in Tommy Lee's Methods of Mayhem. Chris previously was the touring guitarist for Alanis Morissette, and ironically enough was replaced by Eric Avery when Chris joined Jane's.
