Eric Avery (b. Eric Adam Avery, April 25, 1965) is the co-founder of Jane's Addiction and the band's original bassist. His last time performing with Jane's Addiction was September 26, 1991 at the Aloha Tower in Honolulu, HI. Avery turned down Perry Farrell's invitation to take part in the 1997 relapse. He also created co-created Deconstruction with Dave Navarro and created the band Polar Bear. He is currently working on his debut solo effort.
