Hard Charger was an unrecorded Jane's Addiction song recorded and released by Porno For Pyros with Dave Navarro and Flea also performing on the track. The song was recorded for the 1996 autobiographical Howard Stern movie Private Parts, and appears on it's soundtrack as well as its own promo and single.

Porno For Pyros, along with Flea and Dave, performed this song, along with Mountain Song, at the movie premiere for Private Parts. Although the five had previously worked together on the Porno For Pyros song Freeway, this song was the first time that Perry, Steve and Dave had worked together simultaneously. This song is seen as the first sign that Jane's Addiction might reform.

Hard Charger was also the original title to the second Porno For Pyros album Good God's Urge.
