Iris is an instrumental song by Deconstruction that was originally an unreleased Jane's Addiction song known as San Francisco. During the recording of the Deconstruction album, the working title of this song was Beverly's Unborn and then eventually named Iris. Iris is the name of Beverly and Michael Murphy's daughter.

San Francisco

Eric Avery and Dave Navarro wrote this song while they were in Jane's Addiction and gave it the working title San Francisco. It was performed live a handful of times during sound checks, but not during the show itself. A few of these sound check performances were recorded and found on shows traded among fans.
