Rhimorse is the unreleased album/EP by Dave Navarro. Alternative versions of these songs can be found on the unreleased Spread album Unicorns & Rainbows: The Pelican and Dave's solo debut Trust No One. This album is frequently referred to as the Rhimorse Demos.
Album Origin
Dave recorded and pressed a limited number of copies of this CD on his own, however the CDs were never officially distributed. Dave's initial intention was to give them away for free at record stores, but later decided against it saying that he felt some of the album might be hurtful to his ex.
A number of copies have leaked out, and some forgeries also exist. Dave wrote and recorded this album in his home over the course of a week in 1995 as a way to deal with his divorce with Rhian Gittins. Dave married Rhian in Las Vegas, NV on October 15, 1994. The two divorced shortly after. The album artwork contains a picture of their marriage certification, covered in blood. The cover depicts Rhian carving her name into Dave's chest and the back depicts to two kissing.
